Ann Curry

Ann Curry has worked as an journalist for over nearly 45 years. Her focus is on natural disasters as well as areas of war. As an intern at KTVL Channel 10 Medford, Oregon she began her career as a broadcaster. She became the first woman journalist at the station, when she was 22. After that, she moved on to become an anchor and reporter at KGW, which is an NBC affiliate station in Portland. The following year, she relocated back to Los Angeles as a reporter for KBS-TV.
